Real Property Management Franchise Offices Give Back

Property management requires full-time work with never a dull moment. But since they are in the business of serving people, our franchisees also take time to give back and serve in their communities.

At Real Property Management our service extends beyond serving property investors and residents. We are stewards in our community. Our purpose includes “We strive to improve lives and our communities…” and one of our core values is “Sense of Family.”

Two offices recently demonstrated our purpose and core values in action by volunteering their time and talents.  Not only did their ‘day of service’ support their local communities, but also their efforts provided a diversion from day-to-day work activities and made for a fun day of laughter and bonding for their teams.

Fresh Air for Seniors

The team at Real Property Management Last Frontier in Anchorage, Alaska recently traveled to the Anchorage Pioneers Senior Home and cleaned up the balcony so the residents could enjoy the fresh air.

“Doing volunteer work and holding donation drives is more than just giving time,” says Kassandra Taggart, owner of Real Property Management Last Frontier.  “Working as a team outside of our daily work and the positive social interaction helps strengthen our team.”

“This year we volunteered at a facility where two of our clients reside, one of whom is 96 years old and is very proud that she still does her own bank reconciliations.”

Kassandra said the physical workout was also beneficial.  “It was nice to enjoy the mountain scenery and watch people moving about in the city while we were moving about, working outside and not sitting at a desk.”

“As a business owner, being able to support and interact with our clients was great. In addition, staff brought their kids which helps us be able to talk about their kids today and connect faces with names.  And for me, one of the best parts was that our office’s ‘community team’ is the group that created this opportunity.”

Partnering to Improve Lives

The Real Property Management Salt Lake City office partners with Keller Williams Real Estate for their Red Day acts of service each month. Recently, the two companies worked together cleaning up the landscape at the Fisher House, which provides free temporary housing and a supportive community to people whose loved ones receive medical care.

“We feel it’s incredibly important to give back to our community,” says Kim Bedortha, Vice President of Operations, “and support our network partners with our aligned ‘whys’ of business which is to help people accomplish their dreams and improve their quality of life. The added value in partnering with other companies who have a similar culture helps make a greater impact in spreading acts of service and compassion in our community. Our staff genuinely looks forward to participating and being able to get out there and make a difference on a large scale.”

These are just two examples of how Real Property Management offices give back to their communities.
